Mike Baur has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry in Swiss. Mike is the co-founder of the Swiss Start-up Factory AG. He started his journey in entrepreneurship in 2014 at 39 years of age. He co-founded the Swiss Start-up Factory together with two other partners. Mike was born in Fribourg, Switzerland. He was interested in banking and finance as a teenager. He says that it is a great joy that his passion turned out to be his career. Mike started his work in the Swiss Banking Industry by working at UBS where he served as a Commercial Apprentice. Mike later went on to become an executive board member at a big private bank in Swiss. Mike had started investing in Startup Companies before co-founding Swiss Start-up Factory with Oliver Walzer and Max Meister. Mike Baur was a jury member at a startup pitching contest known as START Summiteer held at the University of St Gallen.
Mike was appointed the Deputy Managing Director of CTI Invest after Swiss Startup Factory made a partnership with CTI in January 2016. Mike was in charge of the accelerator program at the Swiss Startup Factory with Goldbach Group during the beginning of 2016. The Swiss Startup Factory is a privately owned company.
